Tango for Life

Diego Lanau has been dancing, performing and teaching Argentine tango for the past decade. Each year he performs in the most renowned milongas of Buenos Aires. In 2010-2011 Diego participated in tango festivals in both the United States and Europe.

Diego dances milonguero and salon style, combining the simplicity of "tango caminado" with musical fantasy and elegance. He instills in his students an understanding of every aspect of tango and milonguero etiquette, from how to invite a woman to dance to how to navigate on a crowded dance floor.

Diego was selected for this project because of his unique combination of professional artistry and technical mastery with his personal qualities of kindness and patience.
